A tip from a friend led us to this place for a boat rental for a half day of trolling for silver salmon on the surreal bay. They allow for do-it-yourself unguided trips which our group of 4 loved. We rented a 14' skiff with a 18 HP motor for a 4 hour trip for around a $100 bucks. As amatuer adventurers :) our knowledge of the sea was limited but we still managed to pull out 18 beautiful coho salmon in 4 hours of fishing. Very accomodating and friendly staff. Will we be back? Absolutely. Not a better value in all of Alaska in our opinion. Upon returning from fishing, the staff allowed for us to hang our catch, helped us take pictures, and had a awesome fish cleaning facility.
