Pros: This hotel is conveniently located near the White House with about a ten to 15 minute walk to most attractions in DC. The building and rooms are nice and well decorated. The Starbucks in the lobby is very convenient, as is the fact that hotel guests enjoy a 25 percent discount.
Cons: The rooms provide little protection from hallway conversations or the constant street noise. Our room was located next to the elevator that added additional beeping every few minutes. Even worse was noise from hotel staff in the hallway (maintenance, room service, etc). Toilet paper and tissues were pretty cheap and rough. Check-in was also quite slow. Finally, the TV and Chromecast were very annoying as most channels did not work and the Chromecast was not able to connect to the internet.
Bottom line, this is a decent hotel and was good value for the price (under $100/night) given the location. However, due to the noise issues especially, I have to give this 3 stars.
