Marjorie,

Marjorie,

Towards the end of last year you pushed me to clarify goals that would drive my business. While I have always been a motivated person, setting specific, measurable goals just felt too rigid and demotivating to me. But you helped me see how the clarity was actually a benefit to my business not a restriction on it. I can certainly say that it has been amazing. We are up 207% over last year and last year was our best year ever!

For 2019 we set lofty goals of acquiring 12 first apps for new producers. Last year, which was a good year no doubt, we had 9 applications by mid-year and 16 in total. Since setting those goals we finished Q1 with 23 applications between my team member and me. Premium is also up nearly double! Last year we had around $7M in Q1 but we are nearly at $14M this Q1. Growth year over year has been huge as well growing from $35M to 58M.

I attribute this to a few things. Firstly, I am getting to way more of my golden hours than before. Through being strategic and knowing that we would talk about it on our calls, I find myself prioritizing it. I have also delegated other tasks more than in years passed in order to get to my most significant items.

Secondly, in coaching we have brainstormed strategic content creation and thus executed on ways to differentiate ourselves in the market place. I am more organized than in years past, such as through use of the white board to help me collect, prioritize, and not lose track of initiatives and ideas.

Lastly, I am better coaching and leading my team member so we truly operate like extensions of each other partnering to serve the client and deepen our relationship with them. Helping her grow and develop her skill set has re-energized me in my business and has helped our business grow tremendously in the process.

I am so grateful for the sounding board, strategy, accountability, and technical skill sharpening that I have gained from coaching and would encourage those wanting to grow to take that leap.

Thank You,
