liz m Review of Pugi Volkswagen
So buying a used car is definitely not on my list ...
So buying a used car is definitely not on my list of fun things to do. Not even on my list of things I really want to do ever. It pretty much consists of high pressure sales people and the fear of getting a lemon.
This was not even close to our experience at Pugi. We went in to look at a used Tiguan. I had already been to a couple of other dealers and was tired and ready to just go home but since we were already way out here, I wanted to at least take a look before we went home. I would have saved so much time and aggravation if I had just come here first.
Our sales person, Nathan was really professional. Not pushy at all. Pretty mellow and funny and most importantly, honest. He was definitely willing to work with us. We did negotiate but it wasn't like he was trying to get one over on us. He was just straight forward. And even after he closed the deal with us and it was past hours and they were closed, Nathan took the time to show my husband all the workings of the car before we drove home. That was really nice of him.
And the woman in finance, Raluca was really nice and so not pushy at all. She too was straight forward and let us decide what we wanted for an extended warranty. And we didn't end up with more than we wanted or needed.
We realized when we got home that there weren't any manuals in the car (and I really do need manuals since I am one of those people who can barely use my smart phone). I emailed Nathan and he ordered them for me and mailed them to me that same week. Since it was a used car, he could have just said oh well - it didn't have them when we bought it and we could just order them ourselves. So this was a really nice surprise.
We ended up with a good car at a good price and it was actually kinda fun.
In a few years, when we are ready for our next car, I will come back to Pugi for sure!
