Opened in 1886 designed by Architect Henry Edward Coe, the National Agricultural Hall was the UK's largest covered show centre. In 1889 the building housed T.Barnum's the "Greater Show on Earth". In 1940 General Charles de Gaulle used it as his assembly point for the French Free Army .
In the 1960' Jimmi Hendrix, The Animals and an unknown band called The Pink Floyd played in the 1960 s as well as others National Show.
On 2017 Olympia London is purchased by a consortium of investors for a world-leading arts, events entertainment and experiential district.
