If you're just going by during a regular day and are paying full price, then you may very well be disappointed. However, if you come to the various events, you'll have a great time, and a membership will feel like it ends up paying for itself.

Science With a Twist is a great monthly adult-only after-hours party that blends science, dress-up and cocktails quite wonderfully. There are also various family/children-oriented events, including the annual Snow Week.

The planetarium shows can be pretty cool, but they're also not cheap.
