Dropped truck off Friday morning as scheduled. Did not receive update so called and informed would need to keep over weekend. Did not receive update on Monday. Called Tuesday for update and was told technician just took it in. Updated an hour later truck would require $2,200 repair.
First, 3 days to plug in a computer for diagnostic? Not acceptable. Second, $150 charge for this service. Again, not acceptable. Third, after calling 3 different diesel shops, all quotes for same repair were several hundred dollars less.
I went away from this dealership several years ago due to the service department. Then, after some warranty work, I was impressed with their service and started bringing my vehicle back and felt good about trying to build a relationship and keeping my money local. Service started trending down couple visits ago and now this. Will not be back with this vehicle unless a recall item. Would be very difficult to consider purchasing vehicle from this dealer in the future. Very disappointing.
