Dear Eden Crest,

Dear Eden Crest,
First, on a positive note, the cabin was clean and well kept, similar to others we have stayed at.
However, we should have gone with our initial senses during the awkward and troubling initial contact with Eden Crest. Attempting to obtain some idea of a reasonable price cabin and its general location was repeatedly met with short, terse feedback. Later to find the cabin on a sharp inclined, very narrow (single car width), curvy dirt/gravel path on the side of the mountain.
Our first impression was upon arrival on Sunday night when we got to the cabin. Upon entering the security code given us and opening the door, the alarm began to blare loudly. With no cell phone reception and the alarm still blaring away in the still of the night, was finally able to locate a spot outside to get a call through. Spoke to a person at Eden Crest on the phone and she kept being non responsive about shutting off the alarm. She finally responded with how to reset the alarm.
We generally go to Pigeon Forge and spend the day and then back to the cabin to relax. Monday went well. On Tuesday, June 18, 2019 was my wife s 67th birthday and we were going to the Pirate Show, shop and relax at the cabin.
On the 19th woke up with no TV. Contacted Eden Crest regarding the issue. Still, no TV all day.
On the 20th we wanted to watch the USA in the world women s soccer match. We had to call a second time about no TV. Customer Support was professional and polite. She stated that someone from Customer Service would follow-up with us about the issues we had. Later that day the dish was back on in the afternoon. Even today no one from Eden Crest has contacted us as promised.
Overall:
Was not impressed with the service or scheduling/billing.
Will not be back or recommend to anyone else.
