I definitely don't understand the hype for this place. There's a great view of Jordan Pond, and the bison meatloaf sandwich was good. But there's a huge line, the lobster stew was small with a strange flavor, and the popovers were thoroughly unimpressive. They're basically air-filled, mediocre-tasting croissants. Save some money and use the time you'd spend waiting in line to find another option in Bar Harbor.
