Kendra Mechling Review of The Carneros Inn

My husband and I stayed here in a "Harvest Cottage" for one night for our anniversary from October 16th-17th. The room was clean, bed was super soft, heated tile flooring in the bathroom were an unexpected plus, and not too many people out and about. Everyone seemed to be wearing masks and properly socially distancing, which was something we were worried about. We hardly came in contact with anyone aside from during check-in. We were pleasantly surprised to find the pools open 24/7, and went for a swim around 8pm to find it completely empty and relaxing.
Our only complaints would be that the porch seemed like it hadn't been swept or cleaned recently as there were leaves in the tub and on all the chairs and ground, and the food should have been way better quality for the very expensive price paid. However, we highly recommend the dozen donuts on the breakfast cottage dining menu, they're reminiscent of Trish's Mini Donuts from Pier 39, which are to die for.
