Home wood resort is not a beginner friendly ski resort. Main chair lifts are too steep for beginners even with stay on green lines. Worst of all, the two platters for beginners are not always open. My family was here for two days and both platters are off both days. They indicated the lines are open and when we arrive and see the lines are not operating, they would simple change line status. If you re beginner, be ready to pay ~$100 a day and only be able to use magic carpet. Won t visit again.
