Word of caution: buy tickets online if you like to evade the long queue to board the ferries. I bought the tickets from there and had to be in queue for over 1.5 hours just to board the boat but for people with online ticket, there was no queue at all. The scenes were mesmerizing and picturesque. The iconic lady has so much to offer. Plan well and try visiting as early in the day as possible. The crowd increases as the day passes AND the last ferry for Ellis island leaves at 2:40 PM so if you visit at later part of the day, you might not have a chance to visit Ellis island. Do visit the museum and the gift shop.
