Wow what can I say other than worse hotel experien...

Wow what can I say other than worse hotel experience ever. I checked in on October 1st @ around 8pm with the front desk manager James who Was extremely helpful and told about the hotel. As I made my way to my room 430 which was not the room I originally booked (I booked a 1 king executive suite) this room I was given is a king standard room. I immediately called the front desk and talked with James once again who informed me his computer tells him differently and he can t help me. I was disappointed with the results so I ended up just unpacking my things since I would be here for 5 days. Upon unpacking I notice the desk was super sticky (see picture) and the fridge had prior guest leftover food I had to dispose off, plus the desk lamp sparked when I went to turn it on. On my 2nd day I discover more issues such as a/c compressor not coming on, No Hot water, the knob to turn on the shower broke into my hand. After telling James about these issues he comped one of my nights and sent Maintenance to fix the shower knob & hot water. The maintenance guy was able to fix the hot water and knob for the shower but I then start to wonder why wouldn t they just move me to a different room after so many issues which I confronted James about and he said no such thing can happen. I told James I work for Hilton and I know for a fact something like that can happen then he muffed we sold out. I just walked away. On my last night (Oct 5th) after coming back from hiking all-day in Sedona, I notice my room was never cleaned and the a/c still wasn t fixed and so I talked with a different employee who sent maintenance up with a Temperature Gauge and housekeeping to haft clean the room while I was out getting dinner. Upon arriving back I notice the room was super stuffy so I contacted the front desk and James was the one who picked up and told me he will come up right away. This time both James & The maintenance guy came up and told me there s nothing wrong with the a/c but I told them how come the compressor isn t kicking on when it s on the constant fan mode. Come to find out something was indeed wrong and it took 4 minutes to fix TEMPORARY!!! The maintenance guy said this should hold till u check out. Not sure what they did but the compressor was on and the room was cooling down so I was happy.

To make a long story short, It seems James had changed his attitude and wanted to help me as much as possible after I emailed the GM Robert Wade who never had once reached out to me after letting him know my concerns.
