Ignoring your booking and tricking you into renting a more expensive car!!

Pros:
The guy we returned the car to was very friendly and professional. He could get a better job for sure!

Cons:
We arrived at RIX tired. Got our bags and went out to Avis/Budget car rental just before the exit of the building.

I showed my booking number, the rental agent totally ignore that and started calculating and making up numbers for a new car.

In heinsite I should have stand my ground and asked what he is trying to do. I had my booking for 116EUR instead of the 500EUR we ended up with.
But it is easier said than done when you are tired and haven't eaten..

Like everyone else is saying in the reviews they are pure conartist, starting with false friendly questions and tricks you in to a very bad deal. A very good one for them, provision..

!!Don't rent a car in the baltics!!

Train and buses work very well in Latvia.
You can even buy your ticket online today!
That is what I'm doing next time.
