Pulled into the hotel at 1:30 PM but there was no room ready for check in. They took my number and my luggage so that I could check in later. They said they would ask housekeeping to expedite cleaning so I could get a room before the guaranteed check in time of 4pm. At 3:10pm, I asked for my luggage so that I could do some work in the lobby while I waited for my room. My luggage was returned with a broken handle. My $400 smart luggage is no longer usable as a carry on since I can't drag it with the broken handle. The bellman did not offer any compensation, just acknowledgement that it is broken. So far it's been a very poor experience.
