I went to another dealer first and the experience wasn't so good. I spent 3 hours trying to explain to the salesman what car I wanted. I don't think he knew the product very well. He kept trying to sell me something I didn't want. I even showed him on the display they had in their showroom. I pointed to the chart and said, "This is what I want, the premier edition." He still didn't get it. They kept coming back and forth on price despite the fact I kept telling them the price wasn't the issue. It was somewhat entertaining though.
I think they sent every person in the dealership to talk to me except the janitor. It reminded me of the time years ago when I made the mistake of listening to a sales pitch for a time share.
I sent one email to Mark Ross, Salesman at Lindsay and he knew what I was looking for.
It makes the whole experience a lot better if the salesman understands and knows the product he is selling. They had 2 of the cars that the other dealer said nobody had.
I was in and out in an hour and half.
