Two weeks ago we had the pleasure of staying at LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort for our first anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were treated to valet parking, seamless delivery of our bags to our room, and a beautiful and friendly environment unsurpassed by other resorts. The large and lovely room faced the Gulf with wide sliding doors to a spacious balcony where we could sit and enjoy our morning coffee. The staff was friendly and courteous, neat, clean and extremely helpful. If we had any questions at all they would go the extra mile to be sure our needs were met. I am very choosey when it comes to beds, linens and pillows---I had a wonderful night's sleep in the comfy bed, loved the pillows and soft linens. The whirlpool tub was a treat, especially with the optional view to the Gulf. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing! I especially enjoyed the truffle fries! Thank you all for a most wonderful weekend! We will be back!
