Bottom line up front: The place has a really good selection for collectibles, comics, and games, but does not exactly have a helpful staff. If you know what you want, you can get in and out, but don't go in expecting anyone to help out too much.

Storytime: my wife and I went there trying to learn about Magic: the Gathering; a game we have been wanting to learn to play. The place is set up for gaming, but the staff seemed more annoyed than anything about answering questions on MTG and then sold us a set saying it was for "beginners" (the Speed vs. Cunning decks). It wasn't easy; it was pretty complicated and used multiple colors which is more geared toward advanced players. They also sold us a $10 supplemental set saying it was also for beginners and that it included a game mat to get us started; there was no game mat. Great, I love wasting money and sitting with buyer's remorse. It was pretty obvious that at least two people knew about Magic but didn't really want to waste time with us and just sold us stuff to get us out of there. There are better places to go that we've found to learn about the game and one place in particular has earned our business because of their understanding, willingness to help us learn, and way better customer service. More than this place can say. I'll pass for anything game related but would go back for collectibles and maybe comics.
