The place is really cool, but at this time of year...

The place is really cool, but at this time of year I suggest you not even bother. Standing in a gigantic line in the hot sun for 45 minutes to get tickets was absurd. Then once you're actually inside, it's so packed that you can barely move. I'm not exaggerating. Most of the time I was there with my family was spent standing, waiting for the opportunity to navigate through crowds of people. Couldn't even do the touch tank with the little ones because of how many people were there. I had only gone once before, back in December, and the experience was amazing because there was hardly any people. We could actually sit and view the animals in a cool, comfortable environment. At this time of year, however, it was simply not the case. I suggest that if you are thinking about visiting the New England Aquarium, you plan your trip during a colder time of year. You won't be disappointed if you do.
