Fridge bought from Samsung. After 3 years defect, water at the bottom of the refrigerator. The first repair has to pay because it is out of warranty. Leniency scheme not valid according to MediaMarkt because it seems as if the hose of the melt water outlet was blocked, so overdue maintenance. I did not agree because the hose is behind a grille with screws and the manual does not indicate that you should clean this. Anyway, unfortunately.
But a month later, the same problem, water in the bottom of the refrigerator, repairman comes by, neatly under warranty from the previous repair. Again goes with the tube and the back wall. The hose turns out not to be the problem because it has already been cut open.
Unfortunately a month later the same problem again, another mechanic, now replacing the entire back wall on the inside of the refrigerator. Again under warranty. CE-Repair does in any case receive 5 stars for service.
But unfortunately even after this repair after 2 weeks water again in the bottom of the refrigerator. CE-repair and Samsung determine by telephone that crediting must be made, so they simply write off the refrigerator, which is strange for a refrigerator of 3 years old. Anyway, this has to be handled by MediaMarkt and you guessed it, then the trouble begins.
Mediamarkt's proposal is according to the standard, I have to pay 800 euros extra to get the same fridge and the repair costs are still under overdue maintenance. Overdue maintenance, excuse me, this is clearly a faulty product! I just want a refund of my paid repair costs. This reason is nonsense and they know that, however, I will not get my repair costs back. They persist, which is of course very frustrating. This case couldn't be clearer and then right ...?
If I indicate that I do not have 800 euros for a new refrigerator, I would rather receive a redemption amount so that I can have the refrigerator repaired somewhere else, then you will receive an email stating that they will stop the crediting and collection of the old refrigerator. So check it out, no proposal, nothing at all.
I feel so very much taken in by MediaMarkt. I am now left with a broken refrigerator, without compensation and without repair. It is a shame.
So again, don't expect post-purchase service.
