The experience was OUTSTANDING in all regards. The hotel is beautiful. The whole staff is friendly, courteous, helpful and immanently well-qualified. The concierge staff was particularly helpful in helping ensure our 3 days in Amsterdam went very, very well. The hotel location is excellent for touring Amsterdam. We enjoyed the hotel tour. The hotel is immaculate. The room was fantastic. We enjoyed the "surprise" in our room each evening-chocolate, cheese, etc. The Sofitel Legend is clearly deserving of the 5 star rating. The restaurant manager and wait staff were excellent. Food quality was excellent. We really enjoyed the breakfasts.
