I went here for residential and I will say it was kind of nice. The main thing that I didn t like is that when I was injured by another patient and was in pain the next day, the nurse practitioner kept giving me muscle relaxers and didn t really do anything expect say here you go this will work and it never worked. It turned out when I got home and was able to get an X-ray that I have mild scoliosis. Another thing is that some of the higher up people need to start paying their staffs medical bills if they were injured on the job. Some of the staff here are not that great. When I just needed to calm down and vent in the quiet room and I requested to go the first staff member told me that I couldn t go because there was no crisis. Another staff member came and took me because they knew that me asking was a giant step in my treatment. All the therapist and most MHA s are wonderful. The kitchen staff are amazing but do have their days where they are upset and then everyone judges them off of that. I had retainers broken here and they were never replaced. Just be cautious if your child is going to come here. In addition if you want to get help go somewhere else, because if you come here you will most likely be traumatized. I thought this was going to be helpful not at all. They don t answer phone calls that much and almost never reply to emails unless you threaten a lawsuit. This place hardly digs into medical problems. I had 9cm ball of poop and they wouldn t do an X-ray just made sure I had a bowel movement every day. Want to be healthy? Go somewhere else. Also most of my peers were not autistic.
