I worked for Spring Dell Center for almost two years and I enjoyed working with the people I supported. I felt the staff for the most part were committed to supporting the individuals and each other. My hope is for staff to get be acknowledged for all the challenging work they do. A serious salary increase would send a clear message that staff's work and dedication is appreciated. Overall I did enjoy and miss being apart of the Spring Dell Family!

Spring Dell Center is poorly managed. They do not train or certify their staff to work with special need's people at the center. My daughter attended for six months and I removed her after finding her left alone in a dark room, doing nothing all day and rarely being fed her lunch. Training specialists at Spring Dell make only $10.00 per hour and barely have a high school diploma. They need to certify and train their staff, pay higher salaries. You get what you pay for as the saying goes. Removed my daughter. One of the members died who sat next to my daughter. He had bruises on his arms all of the time and was neglected. I reported this to the Charles Co. Social Services and nothing was done............

The people are very lovely and just a joy to be around my visit was short but for the time I was there it gave a family vibe.

My sister attends spring dell and recently a previous employee reached out to me with concerns of my sister's health and well being. I have been concerned for a long time about this place. Most staff DO NOT care about the individuals. My sister is not comfortable with the staff at spring dell but will not say anything to me about it because I know she is scared to and I understand why because nothing is ever done ! They make her feel stupid and nag her when she is using the restroom. Of course they will all say no this is great establishment I've never heard of such things going on here, but THEY ARE ALL LIARS ! It's discouraging to see other reviews like my own and see that social services did NOTHING for these people. You would think they'd take it seriously. Why would my sister make these things up, she has complained about spring dell for a very long time and something needs to be done about this horrible establishment !

I worked at Spring Dell Center a few years ago as a driver. It was very stressful due to the fact that there weren't any bus aides. I was responsible for 8 ambulatory adults and 4 non ambulatory adults. I feel that this is unsafe and illegal. If there was an emergency and the bus needed to be evacuated, there would be no way that one person could have done it at all. I am sure that I am not the only driver to feel this way.

This is one of these places where you can not talk to a human....

And since you can't, they just hang up on you.

Can't do business here!!!!!
