I want to be fair, given the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, but I have to say it s another disappointing option in the county. Compares with the restaurant in most mid-level hotels. Our hostess was surprised we didn t want to sit outside even though it was raining, and halfway through our meal, one of the floor staff came over to take the extra chairs from our table. We weren t using them, but it was rather odd. Later, they brought one back, but not the other one! You have to wonder what s going on when it says on the menu that all parties will automatically be charged the 20% gratuity, even just two people. When they brought my wife s mussels, they took away our decorative plates but didn t bring back replacements, or silverware. Our server seemed dedicated to only our table in a very large dining room, but we hardly saw her, wondering whether her main section was in another part of the restaurant. We pointed this out to a lady who seemed to be a manager of some kind, and she was gracious enough to comp us a late arriving glass of wine and one of our appetizers. Finally, it seemed to me that African-American diners were seated in one section indoors, while Caucasian diners were seated in another section. I m still processing
