Okay so the castle is like a 3/5 for me, as I don't really care about the history of the ART but rather the history of the PEOPLE and the HUGE PALACE YOU ARE STANDING IN! The audio guide was quite odd in giving short notes on the paintings and such, which did not interest me. I have been here before and it was much less busy this time, in October.

Still, it was quite crazy in lots of the rooms and it made me feel quite claustrophobic. The rooms are in excellent shape however, I just wish I could properly see them in an empty setting (one can dream).

The gardens however, are soooooo so so much cooler. They are absolutely gigantic and stretch on for what seems like an eternity. The scenery is epic and the price is fair at ~10 euros. Running around and discovering the different fountains was a blast. It was a lot of fun to adventure around in. I thought I would spend 3-4 hours at the Palace & Gardens, but I spent 7 lol.

Oh and by the way, the line for this place in silly. Even if you get "Skip the Line" tickets you will have to wait, albeit much shorter, it is still a wait.
