We usually have a lovely experience at Gibsons, but this definitely was not the case during our last visit to the Oakbrook restaurant. We were seated at a table that clearly hadn't been cleaned properly as there were red wine rings and bread crumbs on the table. We then began to notice that mask regulations weren't being enforced. We saw at least a dozen people walking around without masks. One hostess actually sat a couple who weren't wearing masks. One diner walked right by our table maskless. When I told him that he must have forgotten to put his mask on, he actually told me to eff off, but he didn't say eff. We complained to the manager who told us that there was nothing he could do. Really? Most places have no problem enforcing mask regulations. It was disgraceful and we will never go back to the Oakbrook location.
