When I saw the warning signs that could end my life, I sought for help at Samaritan House. They took care of my children and I. We had nothing else except the clothes we were wearing and the few things we could throw into trash bags when we ran away. Because of them, I was able to gather all my courage to never look back and keep moving forward.

It's been six years, but to this day my children and I are still healing. It's a process, but I am safe and happy now. I owe to Samaritan House the beautiful life I have now. For that, I am forever grateful.
