So far, this company has taken over management of ...

So far, this company has taken over management of our neighborhood from CMA. apparently they sent out a welcome letter (I don't recall it), followed by a blanket billing for annual dues, including re-invoicing everyone who already paid. They state they notified us to tell them if we paid and to prove it so they would not have billed us again. Um, seems like that is not the residents' job. They did call me back same day (today), but the way this has started seems pretty poorly planned to me.
