Very nice hotel with a spectacular breakfast buffet that offers everything and anything. You will not regret your stay here.

The gardens of the hotel are fantastic in size and give you ample privacy to enjoy a day's rest in a sun lounge near the beautiful pool area.

There's an indoor pool as well if the weather turns sour and there are great Day SPA options with steam room, hot room with herbal aromas and more.

The hotel offers free bicycles to guests as it is located away from the town center of Ascona. There are plenty of bike paths to explore and there's also a free regular shuttle into town if you're not too keen to use your own muscles to get there.

E-Mountain Bikes are available as well but those aren't free.

The hotel is close to the lake but not right on the shore. It's a 5-10 minutes stroll to get there. You can also catch the shuttle that connects the Giardino Ascona with the Giardino Lago in Locarno and you are free to use these facilities as you please.

It is expensive but it is a hotel that is a lot less pretentious than the other 5 Star palaces you may find. Just ease into a relaxing few days and do as you please. There are plenty of activities on offer, too. So you won't be bored here either.

Overall a great, relaxing experience that comes highly recommended.
