First of all, the reviews that the wait times are ...

First of all, the reviews that the wait times are LONG are true. There's no denying it. It's been a couple years since this incident, but I think I'm finally not so heartbroken that I can't type about it. I took my cat here for an emergency... came home to him laying prone and nonresponsive with vomit all around him... rushed him here... They took him back the second I walked in crying with him in my arms. I still am so thankful for that one moment. However, they came back a few minutes later to tell me his vitals were fine but wanted to keep him overnight to monitor ... I absolutely agreed he needed to stay. He was in pain and whimpering... and the night male vet, not tech, was flipping him all around while talking to me about possible diagnosis, until I took my cat from him to hold him still and not cause any more discomfort. THEN I got a patronizing speech from a female vet tech about it was going to be around $1500 (some outrageous amount I can't remember now) and that she had already brought me the paperwork to apply for their credit card! Wow. I didn't. Fast forward, I go to visit my cat the next morning and his stomach was completely distended and hard, and his eyes were murky and glossed over. How did they miss this??? I told them immediately this was not normal... a different female vet tech looked at me all dumbfounded... then he peed on my lap, which again, is extremely not normal. He was falling apart so fast and they just had him in a cage hooked up to an IV! ANOTHER DAY PASSED before they got "results" from me having to TELL THEM to check his stomach and take action .. .I can't remember why it took a whole entire day... They advised surgery but wanted me to pay some outrageous amount upfront, even though it was emergent?... so I had to rush to a freaking ATM and bring them like another $1500 in cash... He went into surgery... died in surgery... The female vet and female tech who did the surgery were visibly shaken by his loss and I could tell they really did care about pets and their job. My issue is not at all with them or their care. They let me into the back room to see him and say goodbye. I was an absolute wreck and the two ladies (vet & tech) were being very kind to me. But before I left, reception asked for another $$$$$ payment. Imagine that... just losing your best friend and someone is like oh hey, pay me again. That total included his post-surgery care, which he clearly never survived to see. I asked about it MULTIPLE TIMES after that and they kept telling me the amount was correct, even though I had the original statement showing otherwise. I think they ended up giving me like $200 back for meds he didn't take because he died before he could ... AND... The male receptionist made a comment about how I "had an expensive baby!" Disgusting.

The only reason I give 3 stars is because there are 2 female vets and 1 female vet tech who TRULY CARE about the well-being of the pets. They were so caring and I am forever grateful for their care.
I want to also include that I ended up bringing my female cat back here because we moved out of the country and they had a vet certified to sign her travel certifications. That female vet was absolutely wonderful! I would go back to this place JUST because of her.
Otherwise, even though this place does have a few staff members that truly care, the business itself is just absolutely money-hungry.
