Pretty reasonable price/location/quality trade-off...

Pretty reasonable price/location/quality trade-off. Room wasn't huge but was well-appointed and clean. Had a twin queen room near the top floor, noise levels were low although you could hear people in the corridor pretty clearly. Reasonably functional wired and wireless network access which was free - better than many of the more up-market places I've visited in Manhattan. Daily room cleaning was consistently good.
Front desk staff were great, consistently helpful and welcoming. Bar staff less so; the one time I dropped in during Happy Hour, you could cut the apathy with a knife. Didn't try the breakfast.
Location is good for getting to most of Lower Manhattan. The street itself is pretty shabby though, especially outside normal shop hours when all the flower shops close up. Still, I never felt uncomfortable walking around the area. A reasonable range of places to eat within a few blocks; McDonalds is just around the corner if you're into that sort of thing.
