Since parking does not come with the costs of tuition, students spend around $90 a semester to $180 for the year only to get the privilege of fighting for the scarce parking spots there are. I have spent over an hour actively searching for parking in multiple lots and garages. The garages do not have cameras, by the way, so if you do find parking there just hope nobody hit-and-runs your car while you are in class. If you park outside of a parking spot, or in the wrong spot, you will be found. They fund the citation teams better than they do the actual lots to park in. The best part is, all of these issues only get worse every year. Don't worry though, USF decided to rename the road USF Maple to USF Genshaft, which completely fits in with all the other tree named roads like; Magnolia, Citrus, Apple, Willow, Pine, Holly, Orange, Sycamore, and Cedar. Go Bulls.
