Even if it is touted as the largest aquarium in Northern Europe, it cannot be compared with aquariums in Central Europe. It is certainly big, but so are others. At the entrance you will receive a map of the area which is also recommended to use. It is sometimes very dark and a clear tour to get past all the aquariums cannot be made out.
What we really liked is that everything here revolves around the North Sea. It is remarkable how rich in species this sea is. You look in vain for exotic animals. The large pool with the sunfish is very impressive. Even if the entrance fee is incredibly high, a visit is recommended.
