I attended a Fortune Builder s Immersion event held this past weekend in Cincinnati, Ohio. For those who do not know, the Immersions are a series of accelerated courses dedicated to real estate investing. This course was much more than a presentation of the various real estate investing techniques. Additionally, this course presented how to setup a real estate investment business, and defined a clear path complete with action items. The direction, business plan, and presentation of the material was neatly wrapped into an engaging, powerful presentation specifically tailored for learning. Our instructor, Shawn Tiberio, is the owner of a successful real estate investment company (House to Home Properties, LLC) which means he has real life experience implementing the business plan presented. His experience coupled with his dynamic personality, passion, and highly polished presentation skills is why this weekend was the best learning experience I have had to this point in my life. To put this in perspective, I spent many years obtaining a doctoral degree in engineering which required many years spent taking courses such as calculus, differential equations, partial differential equations, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics, atomic and molecular spectroscopy, kinetic theory of plasmas, electricity and magnetism etc.
