The hotel is advertised as 5-star. I m guessing this is because the layout of the rooms is unique. And it is. I ll give it that.
But.
Reception was slow and unwelcoming. I was given an accessible room even after I told the front desk person that I didn t want that when she asked me. The pool was cluttered with dirty glasses and empty wine bottles/holders. I thought the rooftop would be a pleasant experience, but it was a cluster... horrible service. Frozen drinks off the menu. And no towels for the pool. Dangerously crowded.
There were other minor things you simply catch eye of in a place where the expectation has been established, a rushed knock at the door, for instance, where the room attendant quickly unloads 2 water bottles and a small box of half melted chocolates. And they, indeed, add up.
I d like to think more is expected from a place with this kind of rating. But to me, the value simply isn t there. It s average.
Update: luke warm shower as well. Just disappointed overall.
