They prequalified me for a loan based on my credit with a good rate and terms, exactly what I was looking for. I have good credit. I then went through the application process and was offered a loan with an interest rate 3 points higher! It was very deceptive, and affected my credit. I went elsewhere and got the interest rate I wanted.
