We just stayed at the venerable Royal Hawaiian Hotel and found ourselves playing tourist in Waikiki. The rooms we had was in the Garden Wing - spacious with comfortable beds and excellent amenities. We even went to the Wednesday evening luau, something we have not done for years. Excellent show with Diamond Head as a background and we did not have to get on a bus and drive for an hour. The Mai Tai Bar remains the best beachfront watering hole in Waikiki. Love the bell and front desk staff, so helpful and friendly
