I cannot thank The Lion & Rose Pub enough for the great experience we had last weekend. We booked their private room for our holiday work party for 45+ people and the staff were incredibly accommodating. Robert (the manager) and his staff were very attentive to our needs throughout the night, and made sure to offer everyone drinks and appetizers as they arrived. The event room is perfect for any kind of event - it has 3 (or 4) tvs that can be connected to via HDMI, it has sliding doors that close it off from the rest of the restaurant for more privacy, and it has open access to the back patio where there is a fire pit and seating area. They helped us connect our laptop to the tvs in the private room so we could play a slideshow, let us borrow a microphone for karaoke, fixed the fire pit outside for us so we could have smores, and so much more. The wait staff were very efficient and were able to accurately split tickets for 45+ guests - and the food was very good, English pub-style. I thought they did a great job and I will definitely hold private events here again in the future. Thank you!
