Consumers, be warned--Use another company. Premiums are a waste of money. We have submitted claims, with proper member identification attached to each claim, including a photo of the card, and we receive rejections on the EOB that the member cannot be identified.
We call and are told by a rep that the membership was found in the system and to resubmit the claims which would be paid.
No surprise in the new EOBs. The re-submission was rejected because member identification info could not be found.
It's a convenient way to avoid paying reasonable claims. It's ironic that each claim is submitted, and re-submitted, with all the correct information verified.
Called the customer service phone number shown in other Google reviews complaints. The rep said the needed information was provided and the claims would be reviewed and processed. This did not occur.
Delta Dental is happy to collect money then engaged in gamesmanship to avoid paying reasonable submissions. Buyer beware!
PS-Have read the response from Delta Dental of Tenn. Have already verified that our claims were submitted to the correct office in multiple phone calls with Delta Dental of Tenn. The company response is typical of the gamesmanship and passing-the-buck tactics to avoid paying claims. Again, buyer beware!
