Hampton Roads Review of Bowditch Ford
Solely based on my first experience with Bowditch,...
Solely based on my first experience with Bowditch, I had another dealer I went to for servicing my car. I needed a new positive battery terminal on my car due to corrosion. The tech at my dealer tried to tell me I needed a full list of items that amounted to 7 hours of labor and would cost me between $1,200 and $1,300. Realizing I was being taken advantage of, I canceled the work there and drove over to Bowditch. Their assistant service manager Al Cusano was fantastic! He had me immediately bring my car into the service bay (without an appointment), brought out two technicians to look at my car and quickly came to the conclusion I didn't need everything my dealer was trying to sell me - especially at that cost. Their techs were able to find a positive terminal in stock, it took 45 minutes to install, and it cost me $240. It's a further drive, but I will be bringing my vehicle to Bowditch from now on for all of my servicing. Thank you!
