After paying a significant deposit during the Nationwide Level 5 Lockdown, and subsequently cancelling my requirements during the same Level 5 lockdown, this business "announce" a 30% handling fee to Refund??? What costs/handling expenses could THey have occurred during Level 5???

Update to my post:

I have had to acquire the services of Legal Practioners to mediate with this Company. After 6 months of attempting a direct customer/vendor resolve, this outcome is what I can only describe as poor Customer Service, and evidence to this companies inability to want or maintain any customer retentions for future business.

Interesting response from owner:

Since the deposit was Paid, i was informed that "you were waiting for Stock from China?"
I never received any notification UP UNTIL the time of cancellation (level 5!!!l ) that stock had arrived???
So, during level 5 lockdown, you appear to indicate here, that you were able to Receive, Courier the goods to Gauteng?????
