AMAZING!!! See the Space shuttle Endeavor and posted Tributes to ALL space shuttle mission. BUT first see Moon and space exhibits.

AND the totally astonishing California Ocean tank complete with sharks, anemones, Girabaldi (state fish), bass, rockfish, morey eels etc... (kelp is the Star ) often divers feeding eels and fish. Interactive tanks upstairs. Bonus shuttle fuel tank exhibit outside, a rare surviving example. For those with no kids, go right for the Space and then Ocean Marine exhibits. Teachers and parents, plan for awesome interactives in both!

Food court about 10-15 per person, decent quantity of food for the price (it's LA).
Get there cheap from Union Station, from Amtrak take the Metro Red Line - Transfer--off at 8th and Metro, Transfer to Metro Expo Line (light blue - don't confuse with Metro Blue line - no extra charge but tap your card!), off at Science Center / USC.

Walk through the lovely Rose garden to get there. Next to USC, Rose garden, LA Coliseum.
