Familiar with geocaching? (You should be!) It's a recreational activity of hunting for and finding a hidden object by means of GPS coordinates. So... essentially, it's an easy way to get outside and see cool things in a brand new place or maybe even your hometown.

Geocache HQ is a fun visit for the most experienced geocacher, a newbie or even muggles. (Muggle is a friendly term for a non-geocacher). Pay attention to listed hours to catch a tour which includes some history of the game as well as plenty of time to meet fellow cachers from around the world, see memorabilia, log unique travel bugs and pick up exclusive swag. Definitely worth a trip!

Pro tip: Print a passport and spend a few hours completing the "Geocacher's Guide to the Center of Our Universe," a GeoTour created by Geocaching HQ employees. The caches are all within walking distance and feature hidden gems in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood. Happy caching!
