Tate Peterson Review of Precision Camera & Video

I hate to be the bearer of negativity, but I simply couldn't pass up leaving a review for this place.
I'm new to Austin this year, and have started to visit all of the camera stores here to make sure that I start going to the one that fits me best. I'm not quite ready to develop film on my own yet, so I've been taking the film that I need developed to different stores to just try each out. I took 4 rolls of 35mm film here to be developed (3 rolls of Superia 400 and a roll of Velvia 50). While discussing with the person working as the cashier, it felt as if he wasn't well educated on the topic of film whatsoever, wasn't thorough in explaining the different quality of scans that Precision did, and it honestly felt that he wasn't even fully there while conversing with him. I didn't feel really comfortable sending rolls of film off that I needed developed in a specific way with someone who didn't seem to know film at all in the first place, and my fear only grew.
I come from Dallas, and we have someone with a lab that develops slide film in house, so I was accustomed to that process and assumed that a place as big and accredited as precision would do the same. I received a phone call about an hour later, right before precision's closing time and after I had gotten home (40 minutes away), as the cashier failed to recognize that I shot on slide film and failed to tell me that the return time on the scans would be 3-4 weeks.
To be a first time customer here, it didn't feel like my needs were met, and it doesn't feel like I was fully informed of the Precision's processes and methods of operation. I ended up taking back my film and doing business elsewhere, where the employees that I discuss with know as much about film as one who runs the operation should. Not happy with my experience at all. Will not be returning.
To justify my credibility in saying all that I've had to say, I've shot digital for 6 years now and am just now starting to focus on analog within the past year, so I have had my fair share of experience with camera stores throughout the years, and have had much better experience elsewhere.
