Quite the odd experience. There is a nice hiking trail that's accessible from the hotel. My friend and I decided to go for walk. Some guy in a golf cart just drives up and asks if we are guests. Pretty intrusive, with no introduction and sounded not so nice. How do I know you even work for the hotel? He asks, "are you staying here? what's your name and room number" then drives away. How about, Hi, my name is (state name), and I'm the (state your position), and we want to make sure everyone on the property are our guests to keep everyone safe. Can I have your name and room number to verify? Not that hard.
And then, at 3 am, some guy in a flashlight was going from car to car. Again, is it security? is it a burglar? Some level of communication would help.
