The bottom line is that this hotel is convenient if you are visiting Sesame Place; the park is a safe, easy five-minute walk from the hotel on nice new sidewalks good for strollers. Free parking, free breakfast.

I am glad I read reviews so I was prepared for our stay. There were a few things I read that I found very helpful in preparing me for our visit.

The rooms were just OK. They show obvious signs of use (e.g., stains on carpets). Our bathroom door would not stay closed. The sheets were papery texture and sheets and pillows felt cheap. But these are all things to be expected at a SpringHill Suites and for an overnight stay it was fine.

The breakfast scene is chaotic, with kids being kids and adults doing the best they can. There are about 10 tables in the lobby/breakfast area, and they fill up quickly but the turnover seems quick. My wife watched and waited while I started getting us food and within a few minutes a table opened up and she staked our claim. The noise level was high - I felt bad for the one businessman in a suit reading the newspaper. They do have a great spread: fruits, yogurts, real eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, waffle station, etc. and the staff refilled things regularly and personally brought us some cream cheese after I asked if they could refill the container.

Customer service was good. Check-in was quick and easy. There are luggage carts near the entrance. I recommend pulling your car right up to the front and loading your luggage onto a cart if possible.

Did not use the pool because it looked small and crowded with rowdy kids older than our 1.5-year-old.
