Usual professional check in. Usual clean, spacious, well equipped room. Went to eat in the bar this time, pleasant waitress, ordered 2 x Chenin Blanc, 2 x fish and chips. The barman came over, asked whether we wanted red or white wine! I pointed out that Blanc means white. He said I know, but sometimes the girls don t understand! Patronising or what, didn t he notice I m female!
Why was the meal served on a baking tray?
Why were we served fries when the menu said chips?
