Hello, dated 10/28/016, a Baxi prime 28 boiler was installed in the manufacturer / seller after injunction by the court. On 11/16/016, the first ignition. This was followed by the regular annual maintenance, provided for by law, even though the plant was shut down. Maximum use time, no more than three hours. However, the regular operation was checked.
On 16/07/019 block of the boiler, with technical intervention, replacement of the gas valve, for 180. Diagnosis: a lizard entered in the intake manifold, already devoid of any protection during the design phase. On the 27th of the same month, new block and panel completely shut down.
New technical intervention, diagnosis: electrical overload, defendant, bad weather. A three-way connector, with 2 burned tracks.
Cost estimate: 377.07. Total 557.07 needed to restore its correct functioning!
Intervention requests, for - not for a fee - to the manufacturer, were rejected.
Finally, it was enough to restore the two damaged tracks, from a TV repairer, FREE, FREE.
The previous IMMERGAS boiler has never shown any problems since 014. Never.
As well as a twin, mounted in another apartment of ours. Never a failure, since 2014.
At the time, I contacted the Immergas office for information, I was entertained for a long time, with a very kind technician, who explained to me in an exhaustive way, as I asked.
Try, contact Baxi support! Seeing is believing.
I was advised, in the various emails, to install a protection filter myself and close the electrical panel whenever there is bad weather!
Beyond the assembly of upstream surge arresters. I should redo both electrical systems, while respecting the same, the regulations mentioned by the Baxi customer service (CEI 64-8 standards)
Or I should live 24/24 hours at home, or in the absence, hire some unemployed person, in order to monitor the facilities.
Last note: no other electrical / electronic equipment has been damaged, nor the neighbors.
Buy or have installed boilers of the aforementioned brand, and good luck ...
