I can't renew my driver license sucks because i can't pay 2000usd just to fly over and renew it !

Everyone was polite and the entire process was handled efficiently. It is key to be prepared and to follow instructions.

I've had to go to the US Embassy twice while here in Greece and both experiences have been excellent. The security and the staff were super friendly and helpful both times, making my trips there less stressful. On my recent visit, one of the security personnel even made it a point to ask if I was able to get what I needed done in the Embassy office. An overall nice experience.

Don't take pictures outside. You'll get treated as a terrorist and possibly apprehend by the police. European citizens have no rights when it comes to American imperialism

Excellent embassy on a major road. The security was very friendly and helpful. And, the embassy staff within were also very friendly and professional. If you ever have a reason to visit this embassy, you won t be disappointed.

It amazes me that when you call the American Embassy in Athens and you leave message after message, after message and NO ONE gets back to you. Could it be because there are NO AMERICANS working in that Embassy. Only Greeks, who don't have a clue what they are doing. SO disappointing!!!

I only walked past here the one time but wow, what an amazing building, it was like a modern day fortress, looked very secure, imposing and also quite majestic, wish my countries embassy looked like this one.

I came to get my immigration Visa and even though my appointment was cancelled due to a mess with the informations email that have send me to a wrong address etc the security and the staff were absolute professionals and so friendly that we managed to get a solution!!!super friendly and kind!!well done and thanks to all!!

Not at all helpful. Not even knew to tell me to send an email or what number to call (America or Greece) for information with my issue.

I am a US citizen married to a Greek and have lived here for 5 years. I am a disabled veteran. I applied for disability compensation. The United States Veterans Administration wrote the Embassy to schedule a medical exam. The Embassy does not take upon itself to contact me, so I have to contact them. I did this by email. I received a email wanting my address, etc. This is the last I heard from whoever replied. So I am out of luck and missed my medical exam This could cause my claim to be denied. I thought the Embassy would be a little more helpful.

The overall experience was as pleasant as it could be. I lost my passport so obviously the circumstances were not enjoyable. The lady taking pictures at the Embassy was extremely nice to me and walked me through the process and calmed me down with her kind words.

The only thing I would like to comment on is that when I called the Embassy here they gave me wrong information two times. I lost my passport in Santorini and they told me that I could get on the airline with a police report (all my identification was in my purse that was stolen). Ryanair would not allow this. I called back and they said they were not in control of what the airline allows (Ok, but why did you tell me they would allow it then). They then told me to book a new flight with a Greek airline, because they would let me on the plane. I called multiple airlines and none of them would let me on. I ended up booking an 8 hour ferry, luckily there was one that day. I understand they are not in control of what the airlines can and cannot do, but they shouldn't be giving people this false information. They were rather short with me, but they were the ones who lied.

Every one that works in the immigration section was very nice. I had a wonderful experience! The consular was very very polite and very nice. The service in general was fast and excellent. I love USA embassy.

Very rude over the phone. Not easy to communicate with and help you.
