An honest 5 star rating for an honest 4 star plus hotel

Basically I need 3 to 4 things so that I can have a perfect vacation.
1. A quiet, clean, nice room
2. Good, tasty food with a sufficient selection
3. Nice, friendly, attentive staff
4. A free sun lounger - no matter what time and without having to search for a long time

Conclusion - we had a perfect vacation. That's how easy it is.

When we arrived, we were given a very nicely located room, unfortunately without the desired double bed. At the reception they went to the complaint and asked us (due to the nocturnal hour) to ask again the next day. The next day we got an upgrade to a family suite at no extra charge. Unfortunately, we also had to change this room again, which was also possible within a very short time. At this point, once again a big compliment and thanks to the Front Office Manager Mr. Shaker, who honestly took care of our worries and wishes and found a solution.

The hotel has 3 a-la-carte restaurants, each of which includes 1 dinner during your stay - you can easily reserve it using the large touch screen in the lobby. Our favorite restaurant was definitely the Magic Palappa Restaurant - which offers authentic Italian food under the new Italian head chef Maria. The restaurant manager Gerges Ayad and his assistant Esraa Acharf made every visit a successful experience. Every visit? Yes, there is also fresh pasta and pizza a la carte every lunchtime. We were in the restaurant 10 times in total in the 14 days. Just great. The restaurant is right next to the water slides and the pool and also has a beautiful outdoor terrace that is protected against birds by nets.

On the subject of food - if you leave the hotel through the rear exit towards the promenade there are a few Asian restaurants - which are not part of the all-inclusive offer of the hotel, but are integrated into the hotel complex. The Thai restaurant White Elephant in particular is incredibly good. Original Thai chef with authentic dishes at great prices. We were there twice in the 14 days and just loved it.

The hotel and the associated pool area are in excellent condition. I have never seen such a well-kept pool area. The lazy river is out of this world. If you really just let yourself drift in the super comfortable rings, you can easily walk for 30-40 minutes. From above the African sun, from below cold clear water. Also the water slides and the staff present are just fantastic. This really is Aqua Magic - the name is no coincidence.
Rooms were just great. Beds 1A. Cleanliness 1A - spacious and equipment at a high level. There is an ATM in the hotel where you can also change directly. The bar, whether the lobby bar or the great bar on the roof terrace, serve fresh cocktails, beer, house wine and soft drinks in a really good quality. Kudos to Sahid our waiter, who always looked after all guests attentively, as did all the other waiters.

The beach is a short walk away. Just get out of the hotel at the back, cross the very beautiful promenade and golf carts are waiting there to take you straight to the beach. Or you just keep walking for 5 minutes. Because the way to the beach is really great. Past a very nice golf course. The places on the beach are a bit limited. But if you are there until 9:30 / 10:00 am you get a nice lounger.

I could really write a lot more - because we really liked it. And we will definitely come back. Because the price-performance ratio is really very good.
